BASF, headquartered in CHARLOTTE, NC, unveiled its latest offering, the ACRONAL MB portfolio of acrylic binders for Architectural Coatings in North America on October 16, 2023. The ACRONAL MB portfolio implements BASF’s biomass balance approach, which has been third-party certified by REDcert2. This approach enables the substitution of fossil-based raw materials with sustainably sourced bio-feedstocks in the manufacturing process. As a result, the ACRONAL MB binder maintains chemical equivalence with its fossil-based counterpart, eliminating the need for reformulation.
